Just little old me ranting on random things, including movies, music, crazy people, and Conan O'Brien. Enter the Lair if you dare....

Okay, I hope you have all seen the movies Saved and Saw. Oh good Lord, they were amazing. Most people's big problem with Saw is that it wasn't that scary, which is true, but it's really unsettling and clever. Saved is clever and hilarious, very witty. Highly recommended.

Life is going good right now. Sometimes you need to step back and look at your life just to appreciate what you really have. I'm so lucky to be able to do the things that make me happy, and I am so blessed with some really awesome people in my life. So what if I'm insanely busy. I thrive on that anyway.

Aside from massive Youth Legislature preparations and trying to pull an entire Literary Magazine publication together pretty much by myself, that's been my month. It was interesting and very confusing at times. How was yours?

I'm actually at my Grandma's house right now. My uncle just finished his tour in Afghanistan and he brought his family out for a visit for the first time since my cousin was born, and he's nearly 4 now. So adorable. I should get back to visiting, but I'm still tired from Leadership Training last weekend (my week was so busy I couldn't really catch up on the sleep I missed) so I wasn't that into the conversations, so I decided I'd brief you nice people.

I have seen neither, but I'll make a note of the films.

Glad to hear you're all set up to go on Y&G. I heard from Jill, the Stevenson advisor, and according to the state office, for me to go along with the delegation, I have to have been out for over a year. Either that, or she made something up after I kept nagging her. So I won't be there all week. I'm still considering driving up for a short trip, and my future roommate lives about 10 minutes from the capitol, so I'm trying to get in touch with him about spending a night. If things work out, I'll be up Thursday afternoon and Friday morning. Otherwise, planning starts for next year.

It's always good to step back and realize that you like your life. Glad to hear that things are going well.

Saved and Saw. Two completely different movies, and yet we saw them on the same night. Maybe that's why we're so effed up.

You need to do what I do: sleep during class. Trust me, it helps.

Ahahahah, you know what you should post about? Ackward situations at your workplace!

I'm just kidding, don't do that.
