Back from the dead

This last month or so has been beyond insane. Even for me. So I'm back with a new format (got way too sick of looking at those stupid dots, time for a change) with some updates.

By the by, I did bomb my Chemistry final. I wound up with a C for my final grade, which sucks, but it could have been a lot worse. I'll do better this semester.

I'm hosting for Homework Helpline on Thursdays now, still tutoring on Tuesdays. It's fun, and all of it has really piqued my interest in broadcasting. I just wish I could work more. We only have shows three days a week, so there's really no opportunity for expansion, so I guess I'll just have to deal.

Nathan, good to see you at Knowledge Bowl. Sorry I was so spastic, I didn't even think to ask how your sister's team did. It was the end of a very long week and a stressful morning. I hope she did better than we did--we missed the wild card spot by like a point.

I'm pretty pumped right now because I just got an email from Guvna Joe and I got the position I was hoping for in the Governor's Cabinet--Criminal Justice & Sentencing committee supervisor and Press Relations Secretary. Very excited. :) This is going to be fun.

Don't want to have an insanely long post, so until next time.

Good to see you're still alive--I can't imagine how busy you are, but I know I was really busy my Junior year, and I wasn't nearly as involved as you are. Keep it up, you'll finish sooner or later.

Yes, good to see you at knowledge bowl too. As it turns out, the team went into the final round in first place. All points are thrown away, though, and after 49 questions, it was 12-12-12. Unfortunately, another team answered first, and Stevenson didn't take the tiebreaker for second, but third in state isn't bad.
I know how dissapointing that is to miss advancing. Last year, we were tied for second after regionals, and only two teams advanced. We didn't make it, and at the end of the day, everyone was thinking of the one question that they knew, but didn't ring in, or waited to long to ring in. Don't worry too much about it, at least you have one more shot.

At this point, it's not looking like I'm going to end up at Y&G. THe stevenson advisor was supposed to talk to the state office, and then get back to me, but I haven't heard from her in a few weeks, even though I sent her an e-mail asking her about it. It was sprig break this week, so I'll try again next week, but hings aren't looking good. Congratilations on your appointment to the cabinet, though.

I'd better stop writing, or my comment will be longer than your post! I'll be waiting for the next one.
