Open to ideas: creative ways to make my cousin suffer for her skipping ways. If I can't think of anything especially entertaining, I can always just tell her parents, but I feel I can be more effective myself. I just hope I don't get carried away...*evil laughter*

Three day weekend. That was 72 hours of me-time. I was going to go to the library to work on my Youth Legislature bill (which needs to be done by Thursday) on Saturday, but everything was frozen over and the library was closed. The best part: of the 72 hours, I slept for 36 of them. I am sooo unbelievably happy. That's like two weeks worth of sleep right there. I slept for 14 hours on Friday alone. Basically all I did was eat, sleep, read, and workout (which I of course overdid it on because I feel like I accomplished something when I'm sore the next day).

I finally have a working printer. It's one of those 3 in one deals with a printer, scanner and fax. Not that I can use the fax (still no internet, and I don't know if I can hook up a fax without it or a seperate phone line), but I'm pretty happy about it. I used the scanner to scan some of my pictures, which I'll try to post in a minute. Actually, I'll go do that now. I only have 5 minutes til I have to go to history class (I finished my assignment in Digital Filmmaking way early, so I've been dinking around on the computer for most of the period).

Nothing feels worse than asking for a response and getting none.

I saw this one a few days ago, but didn't have any ideas. But could you drage her to a Y&G meeting or something? Or have you already exacted your punishment?

What's your bill about? I may end up seeing it, I talked to my old advisor about coming back this year, and I'll get more info over spring break. I think it'd be fun to go back.

I started posting a comment, but I guess I forgot to hit Publish.

I'm pretty much blank on ideas, although you've probably already taken care of the situation.

About Y&G. Did you actually become President? I remember there was the big controversy over it, but never heard how (if) it ended. What's your bill about? I may end up coming to Olympia this year, as an "advisor". I talked to the Y&G advisor at SHS over christmas, and will talk to her again over spring break.

I guess I'll follow suit, eh?

I don't really know any good punishments. I dunno, make her listen to me talk nonstop for an hour. That would probably drill the point home.

Dang--I guess I did hit publish. Must've been refresh I forgot to click.

Although you can see how I changed what I was going to say after a day of thinking...

This is Miranda, right? Or is it another cousin?

First: My cousin (yes, it is Miranda) has been officially warned. I've seriously threatened to tell her dad about her ex-boyfriend, which is a problem because he's massively overprotective and officially doesn't allow her to talk to boys--she knows perfectly well she would be murdered and I think it should do the trick.

Second: Yes, I did become President. I'm also applying for the Governor's Cabinet and running for Secretary of State. I kinda wanted to run for Governor, but it doesn't seem fair to the program. I learned a lot last year, probably more than most first years, but I don't think I have the in-depth knowledge to really feel good about running, even though I believe I'd do a good job once I got in. Plus the free trip to DC is highly lucrative.

Third: It would be awesome to have you back, Nathan! If you get the advisor thing worked out, let me know. I can talk to some people and see if you can ride up with my delegation, if you want. It would save you the slightly longer trip back to Stevenson (unless you have a car, I don't remember) but I'm pretty sure we'll be riding up on buses, so it's your call.

Thanks for the input you guys. It's nice to know one or two people read my insanity. Sorry I've been so busy, or I'd mosey more thoroughly through your blogs.

Thanks for the offer, although it was made a while ago. I think in my mind, I thought I'd already replied to this.

Actually, school here gets out the end of April, so by the time Y&G happens, I'll probably be back at home. But you're right, I don't have a car here. They don't allow freshmen to have one unless you have a reason.

I given the over-reaction her parents would be likely to have, I think your decision was better than simply telling her parents.
